The lip filler treatment results in minimum pain if any at all. The discomfort level will mostly depend on the practitioners technique and your own pain tolerance, but generally this procedure is a pain free one. The lip filler treatment involves injections using very fine needles to inject the filler into the lips or outer lip lines. Therefore some very minor bleeding is to be expected but stops quickly.
Initially, there will be some swelling and the lips may feel and look bigger than you anticipated. However the swelling will reduce over time and soon go down to reveal the final result. This usually takes a week to 2 weeks but can take longer.
